Raffle Sled: The good news is our Raffle Sled is paid for and on display at Mountain Mkt. Keep those tickets coming , if you need more call Betsy @ 548-5719 or Dick @ 548-3194.
Safety Course: Two safety courses will be given by the club this year ; the first is November 5th given by Betsy Bain, Judy Poe and Dick Eliezer, the second is given by Ed Winchell and Tom Connelly on Wednesday December 28th Both will be held at the Lake Pleasant Firehall on South Shore Rd. Lake Pleasant. Call Betsy 548-5719 or Dick 548-3194 to reserve a spot.
On the Trail: Trail work has been going on and the Morehouse Turnaround is completed, the airport to the outhouses is done, and the Spy lake Trail to the clearing is finished. DEC is working with the trail maintenance workers. The Mossey Vly Bridge is completed.
Events: The Christmas Party (6PM) and Carolling (3PM) will be held at the Inn in Speculator. Think of donating an item for our auction—baked goods—homemade items –wine—all these things will bring money to the club. We will once again collect Toys for the needy kids in our area but the club will be distributing them this year. We will also have boxes set up at Charlie Johns’ and Caseys’ stores for toy deposits. So bring an unwrapped gift to the party or leave it at one of the stores. Most importantly keep the date----December 10th ------ .
Our FEB FEST date is February 12th so save this date also and remember to bring your trees to the Oxbow when Christmas is over. If you would like to make a donation for the Fireworks send your checks to the club.
