Gas Tax Rebates: In addition to our annual snowmobile raffle, the club also makes money in the form of gas sales tax rebates.
This has been a big help in providing funds to support the club’s grooming operations. Here’s how it works:
After you fill up your snowmobile, sign the Gas Tax Rebate Pads and give your gas receipts to the folks at Mountain Market in Speculator, NY, or Casey’s Corner in Piseco, NY. From there, the receipts are provided to our club then submitted for rebate at the end of the season. If you purchase gas in bulk, the club can use those receipts as well. Contact Mary Potter for a form to submit with your receipts (the form will be available soon at www.pleasantriders.com). This is another way that our members can help support the club.
It’s baaaaaaaaack! The Oxbow Lake Open Golf Tournament is back and scheduled for Saturday, March 9th (the rain/snow date is Sunday, March 10th).
9:00 am is the Tee time, start at the motel beach.
Bring a couple of your clubs.
Longest hole approximately 150 yards.
Greens Fees is $5.00 per player.
All entrants’ fees will be distributed as prize money.
The rules for the game depend on the snow/ice conditions on that day.
Hot dogs and Hamburgers will be supplied by the club.

Information from the Board of Directors meeting:
The board of directors has decided to no longer pursue the Tamarack property and at this time there is no other property being considered for purchase. The paperwork for the 501c(3) non-profit charitable organization status has been filed with the Internal Revenue Service and we hope to hear back from them in the Spring.
