Well there has been plenty going on. It’s time to get everyone back on track!

We are the proud owners of property we have purchased. It has a groomer barn and a house. The Tuckers and Skandics fit in very comfortably. There is a work bench and plenty of room for equipment repairs to be done right there. Upstairs is plenty of storage for our small equipment.

We have some work to do in the house before we can start having our meetings there. The heating is completed. We need to paint and change some lighting. We already took out the hearth, pulled up the carpet and are ready to paint the floor. This will be our meeting room. We still have some cleaning to do in the kitchen. Please don’t hesitate, we need volunteers. The chairs and tables are on their way. Any help from members would be greatly appreciated. Thank you to Patrick Rowe for donating an air compressor, heaters and a 2½ ton jack for the groomer shop.

A big thank you to Robert Shaw and Tory & Cindy Olsen for their generous monetary donations.

Riding for The Cure now has our own web site and face book page check it out! We have 11 sponsors already! This year we have three levels for sponsorship: Gold, Silver and Bronze. We have added a fourth ride to Salisbury Ridge Runners Club House. Now we are asking for donations for the auction/tricky tray. If you would like to help by donating or work the day of the event, please let us know. For information check us out on our Web Site: and Facebook is Riding for the Cure.

With hunting season coming to an end we can now finish our trail work. We still have a couple of bridges and culverts to replace. If you would like to volunteer to help, call 548-5719 or 548-6671.

Next meeting is Wednesday December 9th at The Oxbow Inn at 7pm

Saturday December 12th will be the Children’s Christmas party at the Piseco School on Route 8, from 1-3pm. All local children and community members are welcome. Santa and Mrs. Clause will be there.

Our Christmas party at The Oxbow Inn is on Saturday December 12th starting at 6pm. We will be having our Christmas auction, so be creative with your special item. We are having a contest for the ugliest Christmas sweater/costume. Come on out and join in the fun. Hors d’oeuvres are supplied by the club. Don’t forget to bring a gift for the Toys for Local Tots to the party or there are drop boxes in Charlie John’s store and Casey’s Corner store.

The Toys for Local Tots will be on Wednesday December 16th from 11:00 am – 5:00 pm. at our clubhouse at 1630 State Route 8 in Piseco. Please help make a child’s Christmas special by donating. All Hamilton County residents are welcome to come and shop for their children. Please spread the word.

Snowmobile Safety Course is December 28th (Monday) at The Lake Pleasant Fire Hall on South Shore Rd. The class will be from 8am-4pm. To reserve a seat call Dick at 548- 3194 or Tom 548-3842.

Coming up is our Winter Carnival: February 14th at The Oxbow Inn. We are looking for volunteers.

The Irondequoit Inn has asked us to join them in bringing the Vintage Sled Racing back to the area. The date is February 20th. Details at this meeting.

We will be collecting dues and raffle ticket money. If you need more tickets, let us know.

Please help by volunteering, the more the merrier!!! As you see we have plenty going on!!!!!!
