Meeting December 10th @ 7pm

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!
Now into a Christmas state of mind…

A new spin on our Christmas Party this year.  Join us December 13th at the Piseco Community Hall.  Children of all ages, young and not that young, are invited to take part in Christmas themed carnival games, cookie decorating, coloring ornaments and making your own s’mores.  Dig out your “ugliest” sweater or create your own masterpiece.  Mrs. Claus will lead us in singing carols, and of course Santa will be there so bring your list!
Fun starts at 1pm
Cookies and Hot Chocolate available for everyone!

The evening of the 13th will be for the adults.  Meet up at the Oxbow Inn by 6pm for finger foods and the start of our live auction at 7pm
Don’t take off those ugly sweaters, showcase them for your chance at a prize!
We are encouraging imagination for this year’s auction… Even if you are not a crafty, skilled artisan, we would like to see what you can do.  Draw a “masterpiece”, construct a popsicle stick Christmas house anything you think will bring in top dollar!
Of course, this auction will not just be filled with people’s “art” there will be some really great, useful items from local businesses and more mature club members!
If you have any donations to make to the Auction we would gladly accept them anytime.  All are welcome to drop off items at Casey’s Corner.
Bring a friend to the party~

On to the business end of this Club….

In the past few weeks, many of you may have received an informational packet trying to solicit your membership to another local area club.  We would like our members to know that we did not give permission to this club to use our mailing list.  It was done without the knowledge of our board.  Had we known about this we certainly would not have approved.  The Pleasant Riders Board of Directors would like each and every one of our members to know that we appreciate YOU and Thank you for making our club great.  If there was confusion and you have any questions for us, please do not hesitate to call.         518-548-5719
Again, Thank YOU

Another snowmobile course is being offered on December 29th.  Please call Tom at 548-3842 to reserve a seat and with any questions about the course.

Toys for Local Tots
Please look for our gift wrapped boxes at Charles Johns Store and Casey’s Corner.
Drop a toy for boy or girl, any age
There great deals in the stores now, spend the extra few bucks you saved and buy a toy to make a kids holiday brighter!
All Parents/Guardians are welcome to the VFW in Lake Pleasant on December 17th from 11am-7pm to pick out what they would like to give.

We would like to give a shout out to Robert Shaw… He, for no other reason than because he could, donated one hundred dollars to the club and he rejoined the club after a short hiatus!  Thank you!

Please do not forget about the gas tax rebate forms.  Bring gas receipts from your off road vehicles into Casey’s Corner and we will add it to the sheet.  Also this year, diesel receipts are being accepted for the program.

Don’t forget about the Riding for the Cure ride on January 24th.  Leaving Oak Mountain for a day of riding and back for an awesome buffet dinner!
The ride has a lot of supporters we have already secured (5) $500.00 sponsorships and many great auction prizes.  Including a dinner in the comforts of your home for 6,  prepared by Oak Mountain‘s  Chef Lou from season 4 of Hell’s Kitchen.
Stay tuned for more updates, and a big thanks to all the sponsors!
